The 37th Annual Milford Oyster Festival Canoe and Kayak Race will be held on Saturday August 20th at the Milford Boat Launch behind the Milford Public Library.

NEW Race and Registration Times Saturday, August 18th:

Race time:  8:30 a.m.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m
Awards Ceremony immediately following race

The first 60 entrants will receive an official Canoe & Kayak Race t-shirt.
***Please make checks payable to “Annual Milford Oyster Festival”***

Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in each category.  Mayor James L. Richetelli will officiate at the race and award the Mayor’s Trophy to the 1st Place boat in each category.

Safety Requirements:

• All participants are required to wear personal flotation devices
• One whistle (minimum) required per vessel. 
• No person under 10 years old is permitted in boats
• Parental signature is required for all persons under 18 years of age. 
• Competition cruisers and marathon pro boats are not allowed.
