VOLUNTEER AT THIS YEARS MILFORD OYSTER FESTIVAL

August 19 & 20, 2011

The Annual Milford Oyster Festival is seeking volunteers to help out with the 37th Festival scheduled for Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th.

Volunteers are a vital element of a successful Milford Oyster Festival. Join us for a few hours or the entire weekend and be a part of our community celebration!

Volunteers are needed for the following days/hours/activity areas:

Day	Hours	Volunteers are needed:
Thursday, August 18th	Noon – 5:00 p.m.	Prepare souvenir products (fold t-shirts, volunteer shirts). Sign distribution.
Friday, August 19th	10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.	Oyster Eve beer/wine tent cashiers & servers, Admission tent, General Setup and breakdown. Food Court check-in, setup tables on Green (Arts & Crafts, Main Street, Non-profit areas), Children’s Entertainment pavilion, and in the food court.
Saturday, August 20th	6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.	Parking/Traffic Control, Beer tent cashiers & servers, ID verification tent, Souvenir tent support, Oyster Decorating tent, Canoe/Kayak Race support, Schooner Cruise check-in, Information Booth support, Sign distribution, Volunteer check-in and support, Arts & Crafts Vendor support, Classic Car check-in, general setup activities.
Sunday, August 21st	9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.	Clean-up downtown Milford, shuttle stop areas, Lisman Landing, Milford Harbor, Fowler Field
