Directions to Shuttle Bus Parking Areas
Shuttle Buses will begin at 9:30 am and will continue until 7:00 pm
The Annual Milford Oyster Festival takes place right in downtown Milford and along the Milford harbor. To get here, you may take the Metro North train to the Milford station, a Milford or CT Transit bus to downtown, your boat to Milford Harbor or you can park your car at one of the two designated parking lots. Free parking is available at Jonathan Law High School and at the Westfield Connecticut Post Shopping Mall, in the rear lot . Shuttle buses will pick you up and drop you off at the designated lots..
Parking and shuttle bus service are free to festival patrons who park at Jonathan Law High School and Westfield Connecticut Post Mall. Buses will begin to shuttle passengers at 9:30 am and will continue until 7 pm. Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at the Milford Senior Center located on the corner of High Street and Jepson Drive, a block away from the Milford Green. Parking and shuttle bus service for seniors and handicapped will also be provided as a free service.
Parking for seniors and handicapped is available at Wasson Field parking lots, the Senior Center and at Harborside School on High Street. A special shuttle bus for seniors and handicapped only will bring you to the Milford Fire Station on New Haven Avenue near Fowler Field.
Shuttle Bus Parking at Jonathan Law High School
From I-95
North or South Bound I-95 take exit 34. Left at end of exit ramp onto Route 1 north. Right at 2nd light (next to Kmart) on to Landsdale Avenue. JLHS is on the right. (There are two parking lots, one just before the school and one just after follow signs).
From Merritt Parkway North or South Bound
Merritt Parkway exit 54 to Milford Connector to I-95 south to exit 34. Left at end of exit ramp onto Route 1 north. Right at 2nd light (next to Kmart) on to Landsdale Avenue. JLHS is on the right. (There are two parking lots, one just before the school and one just after follow signs).
From Rt. 1
North or South bound Rt. 1 take Landsdale Avenue to JLHS on the right. (Landsdale Avenue is next to the K Mart Plaza on Rt. 1 in Milford).
Shuttle Bus Parking at Westfield Connecticut Post – Rear Lot
 From I-95
Southbound I-95 take exit 40, go left at end of ramp. Take right at first light onto Old Gate Lane. At second light take a right onto East Town Road go under the highway and take first left. Follow the road to the shuttle parking area (see map).
Northbound I-95 take exit 40, go right at end of ramp onto Old Gate Lane. Take a right at light onto East Town Road. Go under the highway and take the first left. Follow the road to the shuttle parking area (see map).
From Merritt Parkway
Northbound Merritt Parkway to Milford Connector to I-95 north. Northbound I-95 take exit 40, go right at end of ramp onto Old Gate Lane. Take a right at light onto East Town Road. Go under the highway and take the first left. Follow the road around to the shuttle parking area (see map).
Southbound Merritt Parkway to Milford Connector to I-95 north. Northbound I-95 take exit 40, go right at end of ramp onto Old Gate Lane. Take a right at light onto East Town Road. Go under the highway and take the first left. Follow the road to the shuttle parking area (see map).
From Rt. 1
North or South bound Rt. 1 take East Town Road at Westfield Milford Post Shopping Center and Bank of America. Travel past Sears and go right into lot across from Stop & Shop or next right past the Sears Auto Center. Follow the road to the shuttle parking area (see map).
Handicapped Parking and Shuttle Bus Information
 Handicapped Parking will be available at Harborside School on High St. and limited handicapped parking will be available at the Senior Center and the Wasson Field parking lot.
Senior and Handicapped Shuttle Buses will be available to transport senior and handicapped guests to the festival. Shuttle stops will be at the Senior Center, Harborside School, Wasson Field parking lot and Milford Fire Department.

The Milford Oyster Festival Senior and Handicapped Shuttle Bus will allow passengers all the time they need to comfortably board and disembark the shuttle bus. In some cases this may cause unavoidable delays. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience.
Boy Scouts of America 4th Annual Food Drive
Sponsored by the Wepawaug Valley Boy Scouts
 Milford Scouts are collaborating with the Annual Milford Oyster Festival, Inc. and the Cornerstone Christian Center Storehouse Food Pantry in their 4th Annual Oyster Festival Food Drive.
Scouts are asking festival goers to bring non-perishable food donations to the two Festival shuttle bus pickup locations, Jonathan Law High School and Westfield Connecticut Post Shopping Mall, on Saturday, August 20th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Storehouse Food Pantry, administered by Cornerstone Christian Center, provides groceries for local families who need assistance with meeting their weekly food needs.
One in seven children under the age of 5 doesn't have enough to eat in Connecticut.
Milford Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, along with the Milford Oyster Festival Committee, are asking Festival goers and all citizens to help abolish this statistic.

Oyster Shells at the Milford Oyster Festival will be recycled to seed oyster beds.
